HURRICANE – Two La Verkin men were arrested in Hurricane on charges of lewdness and cocaine distribution, a first-degree felony.
Officers in Hurricane noticed two men urinating at Grandpa’s Pond around 1 a.m. this morning, said Nancy Perkins, public information officer for the Hurricane Police Department. After searching the vehicle of one of the men, officers found a bag of cocaine that contained more than what would be used for personal consumption, Perkins said.
One of the men was also charged with an open container and DUI.
