On the EDge: How’s that ‘drain the swamp’ thing going for you?

OPINION — So, how’s all that “draining the swamp” thing working out for you?

Are you happy with your transient government?

Are you pleased by the fact that more than 20 percent of ambassadorships remain unfilled, that there have been two dozen high-level resignations or firings among a staff that was put in place a little more than a year ago and at the lack of serious legislative activity? That’s not draining the swamp, that’s bad management.

Are you comfortable with the temperament of the nation? It’s pretty nasty out there right now. Don’t believe me? Venture out into social media with a cogent opinion and see what happens.

Does it make you all warm and fuzzy that the news is dominated by right-wing talk show hosts who are feeling the heat from advertisers who have had enough of their foul proclamations.

What about the lurid allegations coming from porn stars and magazine centerfold models?

Did you like the false promises of preventing jobs from leaving the U.S.? You know, the folks, like Carrier who promised the president and its workforce that they would keep jobs in the country instead of shipping them to Mexico. Yeah, well a year into the deal, hundreds of workers are on the street and, according to industry analysts, all of the jobs from that Indiana plant will land in Mexico in a year or so. So much for the art of the deal.

Are your representatives in Congress responding to your needs? Has that so-called tax break resulted in a nice, fat raise? Will that savings of roughly $100 a month for a family of four translate into real savings after you take into consideration the prices of goods purchased from overseas being hiked as a result of capricious tariffs?

And, about those tariffs, who do you think will pick up that bill? Certainly not the corporate gods who try to add onto their physical plants and factories. We’ll be the ones who get hit with the tab without any reward from the so-called trickle-down economic promises. It didn’t work for Ronald Reagan. It didn’t work for George H.W. Bush. It won’t work for D.J. Trump.

How about the threats of nuclear war? Did you cringe just a little when you heard about a, thankfully, errant broadcast warning that Hawaii was under imminent nuclear attack? You should have because given today’s international climate, it is certainly a possibility.

Think the $30 million the president wants to spend on a military parade will truly raise the American spirit or will it be reminiscent of the old Nazi, Soviet Union or current North Korean displays of military might? I don’t know about you, but I can think of a lot of things that would stir my heart more than the sight of soldiers marching down Pennsylvania Avenue.

Give them their honors, give them their due, but that $30 million would be better spent helping veterans through the physical and emotional damage done by a senseless war than stroking a massive ego. Help them find jobs. Help them find housing. Help them put their lives together. Yes, they volunteered for military service, but I guarantee you the ones in need never figured they would come home scarred.

What about the arrogance, brashness of a Russia run amok to the point where even this administration has been forced to send about 60 of its comrades packing?

Like the fact that there is a personal feud between the president and our largest retail outlet, Amazon? Actually, the feud is between the president and Jeff Bezos, who owns both Amazon and The Washington Post. The president has consistently thrown daggers at Bezos and the newspaper – as well as other longstanding news outlets with reputations for accuracy and fairness. Call it fake news all you like, the bottom line is you cannot tamper with the truth and the newspaper has a history of dealing in truth, something that cannot be said about the president.

Governance is a tough business that requires tact, discipline and organization. What we have seen, however, is about as much tact, discipline and organization as the mosh pit at a death metal concert.

You see, America, this is what happens when in your zeal to replace the black man in the White House you pick somebody who looks, acts and speaks like you. And, there were enough voters with payback in their hearts to swing the Electoral College based on contorted promises to drain the swamp.

What was forgotten in all the campaign rhetoric and fervor is that there is a larger swamp a few blocks away from the White House in the House and Senate chambers.

Make no mistake, what is going on in the Oval Office is akin to a Ken Kesey novel. It is a matter of great consternation and embarrassment.

But so is the mess in Congress.

Look, we knew going in that no matter who won the presidency last time we went to the ballot box would be a lightning rod for scandal, controversy and suspicion. We knew we were going to be shortchanged no matter who was handed the keys to the Oval Office.

But, what we failed to do was use our power to pull the plug on the swamp and clean it up ourselves by kicking those folks to the curb.

So, it was, in all honesty, our chance and we blew it.

You can love or hate the president. That’s all a matter of perspective and ideology. But for all that bluster and delusional drama, the fact remains that the real seat of power resides in the hands of the men and women in the House and Senate and if you want to drain the swamp, you’re best bet is to start there and relieve them of their duty.

They operate with neither dignity nor honor.

They serve only the lobbyists and special interests who toss fistfuls of cash onto their collection plates.

And, they are not about to correct the mistakes of the ineptitude and treachery in the Oval Office because it gives them cover as they continue to plunder the money men.

There is a lot being predicted about the upcoming midterm elections. Some are saying it will result in a bloodbath for the Republican Party. Others are saying that voter apathy and discontent are so high the turnout will be minimal, which means little of substance will occur.

Meanwhile, that cloud of mosquitoes rising from the bog continues to grow.

No bad days!

Well Ed is bored again! Too funny! Can’t wait till the election to help shut some of these snowflakes up!

    • swampmonster April 4, 2018 at 9:50 am

Very constructive to this conversation Mike. “I disagree with Ed but can’t refute anything he has said, I’ll just call him a Snowflake that will shut him up and stop him from writing fantastically well-reasoned, articulate, and factual articles on my local newspaper.”

  • John April 3, 2018 at 5:03 pm

Special eddy , The draining of the swamp is going as planned..hahahaha! Keep drinking that liberal kool-aid dude !

“Others are saying that voter apathy and discontent are so high the turnout will be minimal, which means little of substance will occur”.

Judging by the turnouts I saw at Caucus, That’s a spot on assessment.

      I hope I’m wrong.

I didn’t mean to post my last comment under John. Please move it out and delete this one. Thank you.

Thats right, everybody who has any common sense is fed up with liberals in general ! Except of course special eddie and the new riders of the short bus..

        • swampmonster April 4, 2018 at 9:51 am

Nice john, resort to name calling when you can’t construct a well reasoned argument because there isn’t one available. Just like our beloved president.

          • John April 4, 2018 at 11:34 am

I didn’t call anybody names, but if you choose to self identify that would be your problem, WAAAH WAAAH WAAAH!

Really your going to deny name calling? “Except of course special eddie and the new riders of the short bus..” Sounds like name calling to me.

    Did Ed say something?

  • snowflake1 April 3, 2018 at 6:30 pm

I totally agree Ed. Why can’t he just fill these positions with who ever and keep the same people doing nothing forever. Why is he doing everything different! And US presidents should get there sexual favors from interns or people he works with not porn stars. What is This Trump guy doing! OMG He needs to get impeached before Hillary gets put in prison!

Just so you know..The public’s paranoia toward “fake news” over the past year has opened the door for a different kind of scam artistry: websites that try to get ahead by tricking the public into believing that real news outlets are fake. One of the most notorious scams has come in the form of a site called Media Bias Fact Check, which offers no information of the sort, and instead offers amateurish “ratings” of various news outlets. These ratings are inaccurate, useless, and changed at random. Even worse, in at least some instances, its “ratings” are simply based on information it’s cribbed from Wikipedia. But liberals will believe anything that fits their fake utopia ! MEDIA BIAS FACT CHECK IS EVEN MORE FAKE AND BIASED THAN SNOPES…duh!

          • Death Valley April 4, 2018 at 12:43 pm

John, facts burn people like you like water to the Wicked Witch in Oz.
Too many facts and you melt right through the floor. Must be painful.

          • John April 4, 2018 at 1:29 pm

death, your’e boring and not too bright..

          • jpgable April 4, 2018 at 1:44 pm

Fake news is a creation of Donald Trump. Everyone who is a follower is under his spell of only believing the hard right wing radio host or Fox News. He calls everything that is not in agreement with him fake news. I don’t need a website to tell me that is a fact. Only person you can trust on fox news is Shepard Smith.

  • DesertBill April 3, 2018 at 6:43 pm

I am (was) a conservative republican who voted for the republican presidential candidate every year until Trump. I couldn’t bring myself to vote for such a despicable, incompetent person. The last 14 months have confirmed out those concerns. I would appear most of the draining has been cabinet members, agency heads (for those with leaders), his attorney and others.

    • comments April 3, 2018 at 7:23 pm

If Trump can stir up the corrupt garbage that are mainline republicans then he’s doing something right. Are you naive as to how corrupt the 2 major parties are?

      • John April 3, 2018 at 8:10 pm

That’s one i agree with you on , Bob !

  • commonsense April 3, 2018 at 8:58 pm

Fifty percent on Americans support Trump. The other half are embroiled in hate. All analytics show America is much better off than it was a year ago. The only discordance in in the liberal social media and leftist media. Read my sources and everything is fine.

Liberals have tried electoral challenges, paid protests by every unhappy group, fake news, Russian collusion, delayed confirmation, filibusters, race baiting, illegal sanctuary, and now sexual accusations by whores….and still Trump is Making America Great Again..

    • PatriotLiberal April 3, 2018 at 11:23 pm

“All analytics show America is much better off than it was a year ago” What “analytics” do you speak of?

” Read my sources and everything is fine.” Okay, what are your sources?

    • mctrialsguy April 4, 2018 at 4:59 pm

Just need to stir it up to see what settles at the bottom to be drained out, when all is clear, all will be even better than it currently is, and things right now are great!

  • Thecadean April 3, 2018 at 8:59 pm

You are much too kind. the New Yorker just published an 18 page story about American most corrupt president and features DJ sporting a Pig Snout.

    • jpgable April 4, 2018 at 1:49 pm

His slogan is “Keep America Great” for 2020 not make america great again, again. I would have thought a Trump supporter would know that already. The words came from his mouth in a speech. Sounds like you are very informed, I ‘ll keep that in mind when I read your future comments.

  • Kyle L. April 3, 2018 at 10:59 pm

Going GREAT for me! Oh BTW would you do me a favor Ed and compare Trump’s most recent approval ratings against Obama’s at the same time during his presidency. Let me know how MOST of America feels about Trump’s efforts to “Drain The Swamp”.

    • bikeandfish April 4, 2018 at 12:42 am

Ugh, Obama’s approval ratings were 10 percentage points higher at this moment (his disapproval rating was 12 points lower). Obama’s were roughly 20 percentage points higher in comparison of first years.

      • John April 4, 2018 at 3:10 am

Making stuff up again? hahaha! Cry me a river, nobody asked you?

        • bikeandfish April 4, 2018 at 9:15 am

          Nope.

Gallup is unbiased third party, Rasmussen is a ” conservative-leaning” survey, hence the difference. Rasmussen has been 5-10 percentage points higher the entire presidency. Their methods are different than others as they have a mixture of robo calls and supplement with online.

That said Rasmussen may be indicative of his pooularity as it affects mid-terms as they poll “likely voters” while others do all adults. Other than that they don’t get high grades for polling (only call landlines, etc).

Pew and many others are simply better for historic comparisons because of their methods and lack of bias.

          • John April 4, 2018 at 10:11 am

            Wednesday, April 04, 2018

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-eight percent (48%) disapprove.

The latest figures include 33% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 38% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -5. (see trends).

This is the president’s best overall job approval rating since April of last year. President Obama earned a 46% job approval rating on April 4, 2010, his second year in office.

          • bikeandfish April 4, 2018 at 2:01 pm

John, can you display critical thinking skills? You just copy and pasted the same Rasmussen poll that I am fully aware of. Cherry picking the one poll that aligns with Trumps grandiose sense of self-worth is a sign that you value fallacious reasoning.
From a Newsweek article talking about Trump’s claims:

“A combined average of polls give Trump a 41.8 percent approval and 53.2 percent disapproval rating.”

“A combined average of polls for Obama on April 2, 2010, gave him a 47.8 percent approval rating to to 45.9 disapproval”

So an average of all the polls, including Rasmussen still has Trump 6% points lower than Obama at this same time in the administration’s tenure. Interesting how Trump and his cronies manipulate the truth to benefit their image. Its almost like Trump is a reality TV star who cares more about public image rather than facts.

          • John April 4, 2018 at 2:55 pm

yes. because that is fact and you are truly clueless..Go fix your flat! And come down from your perch of all knowledge and accept reality for a change. Just because blankandfeeble doesn’t believe it , doesn’t mean it isn’t so..Sorry but your fantasy is not very convincing…The swamp is being drained and that’s all that matters..

          • bikeandfish April 4, 2018 at 4:21 pm

Curious, John. If you are able to think critically then please explain how my assertion, supported by empirical analysis, that you have cherry-picked polls is incorrect. It should be simple to do with evidence if you know how to think critically.

And I also curious what fantasy I am living in. Please provide a quote to prove that claim.

Until then I will stick to my belief that you are a simplistic troll.

          • John April 4, 2018 at 8:50 pm

T he more you open your mouth the more you let the world know how little you really know…It is so much fun watching you make an ass of yourself..hahahahahahaha! You are truly the clueless one !

        • Kyle L. April 4, 2018 at 9:05 am

Thanks John. Bikeandfish must have gotten a flat tire on the way back from fishing and missed that article.

          • bikeandfish April 4, 2018 at 10:24 am

No, I just trust unbiased, reputable sources over biased ones. Rasmussen is an outlier and not accurate for historical comparisons. The vast majority of polls show Trump’s approval numbers are still well below Obama’s at the same point in their tenure.

          • John April 4, 2018 at 12:24 pm

Not only a flat tire, her bait won’t stay on the hook either…

        • swampmonster April 4, 2018 at 9:39 am

John please check the biases of your sources. Gallup poll is one of the most widely trusted polling organizations in the world. Washington examiner is a very right-leaning media source.

Please examine where your news comes from to make sure they are not lying to you John. This is important to the health of our democracy and our country.

          • John April 4, 2018 at 10:01 am

your fact check source is left biased..hahahahaha! you lose again..

          • Death Valley April 4, 2018 at 10:18 am

John can’t be bothered to check the bias in the links he provides because he knows they’re crap. Washington Examiner, Breitbart, Gateway Pundit, et al. John is constantly posting links to these known sources of propaganda and outright lies. Don’t expect someone on his sub-level to ever post anything truthful or factual. He’s delusional at best.

  • Lee Saunders April 4, 2018 at 1:11 am

Did any of you catch the Easter Egg roll verbal fiasco? I was embarrassed for his wife who was forced to stand next to him and for the kids. It made me wonder if the man was on drugs or something. All I could think was, “Shut the hell up and let the kids play.” The guy doesn’t even know what the White House is called. If he was trying to be funny, he failed miserably. Rex Tillerson was right, the man is a moron. I hope Tillerson writes a book. The tax benefits? I gained about $1 per day. That ought to “make America great again”. The real blood bath for me will be when I file my taxes next year. It’s going to be brutal due to deductions lost. Good job summarizing things, Ed.

Please elaborate John, if you would, about what is so wrong about this comment. I would be interested to see what fox news has told you is the truth.
Please check where your news is coming from. There are still a couple of media companies that try very hard to report the unbiased facts, Fox news is definitely not one of them.
In fact FOX has been deemed the least accurate cable news source according to politifact.

John… so indoctrinated to believe right-wing propaganda. You provide link after link to not only right-wing propaganda but ultra-right propaganda that makes regular republicans look like Mensa Society regulars. So blind that you can’t see the forest for the trees. Your one-dimensional view, along with people who share that view, is precisely what is wrong with America. You spew talking point after talking point from KNOWN sources of misinformation and right-wing bias. The same bias that you accuse “leftists”(as you call them) of having. That’s some serious hypocrisy and very typical of someone who attaches themselves to the right.

Take your meds and settle down, old-timer. Your views are not mainstream and not in line with modern thinking. And you’d best prepare yourself for what’s coming at midterms. The GOP is about to have its collective arse handed to them. Those conservative tears are about to flow like Colorado spring melt pouring from the mountains.

“If by a “Liberal” they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people-their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights and their civil liberties-someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a “Liberal”, then I’m proud to say I’m a “Liberal.” – John F. Kennedy
You base your opinion of all liberals on the extremist of the party, which is biased and unfair, just like it is biased to say all conservatives are just like you.

  • dodgers April 4, 2018 at 5:15 am

The majority of Ed’s piece appeared as a full venting of all his anger, directed at our president Trump. Hopefully, it made him feel better.

While not perfect, considering the political environment (especially ruling establishment) and the mess our president Trump inherited, he’s done quite well. It is definitely a process to get the ship back on course.

But then, Ed actually hit the target, the truth, for which I agree. Our biggest obstacle to draining the swamp is congress, house and senate, on both sides of the aisle. It’s primarily the resident establishment, those self-serving career politicians who bow to lobbyists while disregarding the American people. For starters, McConnell, Schumer, Ryan, Pelosi and friends need to go.

As for the tax cuts, they’re a good start. However, they need to be significantly increased—we need to keep more of OUR money.
And we need significant reductions in federal spending, not another kick the can down the road omnibus, which increases spending.

Congress, except for a few, is the problem.

    • Death Valley April 4, 2018 at 10:27 am

“considering the political environment (especially ruling establishment) and the mess our president Trump inherited”

Please elaborate as to what particular “mess” Trump inherited? If anything, Obama handed Trump almost everything he has right now. Especially the booming economy. Oh, and, don’t try rebutting with “the economy skyrocketed the day Trump took office” crap because everyone with a brain knows that’s NOT true. Kinda like the exaggerated size of his inauguration crowd.
      Your move, mister baseball.

      • John April 4, 2018 at 11:48 am

        • Death Valley April 4, 2018 at 12:24 pm

Wow, John… such thoughtful insight. Tell me, when was the last time you came up with an original thought of your own? Because all you do is spew the same crap day after day after day. Nothing insightful to add to the conversation, only negativity, name-calling, insult hurling, and providing links to ultra-right propaganda sites. Why so bitter, old man? Out of your pain pills again? Need a mood stabilizer? Maybe you should get off the computer for once and go outside for a walk. we have lovely hiking trails around here. That is if you can keep your knuckles from getting scraped and cut while you drag them two feet behind you. Talk about someone who could use a bong hit. You could use a few… thousand.

John is not smart enough to put his own ideas together. He is the ultimate Trump supporter, to stupid to check for facts and doesn’t ask questions if it comes from the likes of Fox news or Breitbart. Sadly you don’t have to take an IQ test to vote.

          • John April 4, 2018 at 3:00 pm

You like proving your handle is just a euphemism for that space between your ears. In your case they are not insults but actually they are compliments. • bikeandfish April 4, 2018 at 4:10 pm

            John,

You do realize you just claimed PatriotLiberal is full of delicious crap, correct?

At least you are consistent in not making a lick of sense

          • John April 4, 2018 at 4:31 pm

’tis a great day in the fantasy world of the famous blankandfeeble ! You are all just live bees in a hive.. If it isn’t like you, you have to attack it. You are all just a bunch of cloned misguided donkeys chasing the MSM carrot and it is an honor to yank your chain daily.. It’s also fun! The swamp is being drained, just because the msm isn’t reporting it doesn’t mean it isn’t happening, they would rather get you behind the unconstitutional gun lobby .. They are getting desperate, bringing out the heavy hitters, teenage crisis actors and over the hill ex porn stars.. wow.. quite a leadership..What’s it gonna be next week, Trump had russian dressing.. get over yourself already !

          • bikeandfish April 4, 2018 at 4:58 pm

All tired, old insults, no intelligent content. No chain yanked after months of feeble attempts. You will know if/when I am “triggered” but it hasn’t remotely happened yet.

You are definitely one delusional conspiracy theory chasing puppet. Crisis actors everywhere! Talk about fake news.

          • No Filter April 4, 2018 at 6:32 pm

John your idea that a liberal can’t be a patriot is total BS. I fought in 2 wars and I am a liberal. And by telling any veteran that they aren’t patriotic just because they have liberal views is one of the most unpatriotic things a person can do.

          • Death Valley April 4, 2018 at 7:03 pm

Poor John. So much anger. And for what? A few people on the internet who disagree with your warped and pathetic view of the world? Cowardly. That is the only word I can think of to describe your insulting posts and condescending manner. You’re a coward. Truth hurts.

          • John April 4, 2018 at 7:38 pm

So what?.. I fought in 2 wars also..liberal and patriot are mutually opposed terms. You swore an oath to uphold the constitution and obey the president, you were never relieved of that oath, so go suck eggs ..Oath of Enlistment
            Oath of Enlistment
I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.” (Title 10, US Code; Act of 5 May 1960 replacing the wording first adopted in 1789, with amendment effective 5 October 1962). I am Correct and you sir are a traitor.

          • bikeandfish April 4, 2018 at 8:10 pm

Damn, John has fully lost it. Calling a veteran a traitor for having liberal views? He just opened a window into his ideology, ie authoritarianism. This is the extremism Trump fuels and feeds off of.

          • No Filter April 4, 2018 at 9:14 pm

Well John boy once again you are completely wrong. Your oath expires when you finish your enlistment or commission, otherwise why would we have to restate the oath at our reenlistment. Once you sign your dd 214 and complete your 8 years, be it active or reserve duty, you have fulfilled your obligation. Although it is patriotic to say you will uphold your oath until you die, it is not an official rule. As far as your theory of patriotic and liberal being opposed terms, that is only true in your messed up world. You are stepping on the toes of so many veterans who fought and died for our country. So no matter what crap comes out of your mouth, I will forever be a patriotic liberal. A combat veteran who is now disabled from an Injury during battle in Iraq defending the rights of every liberal and conservative to speak freely. So the next time you say a liberal is not patriotic, I’ll take you to a grave of fallen soldier who I know for a fact was a liberal and you can tell him and his widow how unpatriotic her dead husband is because he was a liberal.

  • mshaw April 4, 2018 at 6:17 am

I’m pleased with what’s going on and even if he get roadblocked on occasion he is doing a great job and he will get my vote again. At least Hillary is not there it would be way worse

  • commonsense April 4, 2018 at 8:46 am

Analytics are things measurable. Jobs, stock markets, take home pay, illegal immigration, GDP, welfare abuse, etc are all much better now than they were a year ago. Immeasurable but important, military and police morale is up and our borders are more secure.

Liberals get themselves and fellow liberals worked up on social media and think the sky is falling.
Give me some data to substantiate that. It’s Don Quixote flaying at windmills. The swamp which mired this country for decades and is receding.

    • swampmonster April 4, 2018 at 9:48 am

      1. Have you even looked at the stock market in the past couple of months, my stocks are crashing down hard. If you think for a second that “trump’s economy” is the economy since the day trump took over and not residual from Obama’s work you are dearly mistaken. Give it a year and tell me that our economy has improved, that is when we will be in full swing of trumps economy. And based on these Chinese Tariffs and unbelievable tax cuts for the wealthy, I can just about guarantee it isn’t going to be pretty.
Please check your news sources, many of them are lying to you and cannot be trusted. You can use this fantastic site:
      https://mediabiasfactcheck.com
To see how accurate the news you are getting is.

      • John April 4, 2018 at 10:45 am

Why do you insist on using a fake fact checker to back up your fake news? They got you sucked in..hahahaha!
The public’s paranoia toward “fake news” over the past year has opened the door for a different kind of scam artistry: websites that try to get ahead by tricking the public into believing that real news outlets are fake.

  • swampmonster April 4, 2018 at 9:54 am

This entire comment section is a dumpster fire. Fantastic article Ed. You are a really good journalist and writer and I wish we had more like you throughout the system. Thank you for articulating my frustrations with the system so well. I always look forward to your articles. Keep it up, you give me hope for the system.

    • John April 4, 2018 at 10:47 am

Special Ed drinks way to much liberal kool-aid and has a real problem because he never lets facts get in the way of his leftardedness.

      • jpgable April 4, 2018 at 2:30 pm

Funny how you always use the kool-aid comment. The cult leaders such as Jim Jones who did use the “kool-aid” idea were christian fundamentalist. So saying that liberals drink the kool-aid just doesn’t work. Smoking weed yes, drinking kool aid no!

        • John April 4, 2018 at 3:13 pm

So what’s your pointless point this time , cheech !

          • No Filter April 4, 2018 at 4:28 pm

For someone who denied calling a person a name in their post, you sure do like calling people names. Once again you prove your level of education. Either you were always stupid or you are getting too old and losing your mind, either way you need to shut your mouth.

          • John April 4, 2018 at 6:08 pm

Having a battle of wits with an unarmed moron like you is way too easy, You better call roto rooter, your filter is clogged.. Keep chasing that carrot.. hahahahahaha!

          • Death Valley April 4, 2018 at 7:07 pm

John doesn’t realize it but the rest of us live in his head, rent-free. Eh, Johnboy?
Keep rambling, old man. We’ve got ya right where we want ya. Making a fool of yourself.
Like shooting fish in a barrel.

  • Real Life April 4, 2018 at 11:04 am

“No bad days”? Ummmm, you certainly are having many of them, these days. Or so it seems.

  • commonsense April 4, 2018 at 7:00 pm

The stock market has gained 7000 points since Trump’s nomination just on optimism.
It has also gained over a trillion in value, all on the hope Trump would manage this corporation called America.

The problem is liberals think this country must be saved from Trump so anything is justified, even lies, resistance, race baiting, really any strategy. This has divided America but much has been accomplished and the swamp is receding.

    • John April 5, 2018 at 7:41 am

The liberals are all a bunch on mind controlled meat puppets, following insignificant little pseudo-leaders like special eddy into that leftist cesspool of propaganda set up for them by the MSM. They just follow blindly and reject the truth. “Liberals are so open minded their brains have fallen out!”

  • John April 4, 2018 at 10:57 pm

The clueless little snowflakes are melted once again.. What a bunch of sheep, the only one who is half sane is comments..As for the rest of you? Talk to me when you come down from that high ! You are on one bad trip ! The swamp is being drained…………………tick tock tick tock ! You think you cried hard on election night? wait …hahahahahahaha!

    • Death Valley April 5, 2018 at 6:47 am

Same crap day after day after day. Nothing insightful to add.

      • John April 5, 2018 at 7:45 am

No insight needed when addressing simple minded liberals who let the MSM do their thinking for them ! Good nickname for that space between your ears, btw !

        • Death Valley April 5, 2018 at 8:23 am

          Cowardly bitter old man.

          • John April 5, 2018 at 9:18 am

Not bitter at all ! And so much more in touch with reality than you meat puppets, hahahahahahahaha! You are all a bunch of trained parrots and you don’t even know it !

        • No Filter April 5, 2018 at 1:58 pm

Mainstream (noun) the ideas, attitudes, or activities that are regarded as normal or conventional; the dominant trend in opinion, fashion, or the arts.

Its been two years and I still don’t understand why Trump supporters think “mainstream” is a bad thing. If you really wanted to use the word correctly you would tell everyone that the only mainstream media is Fox news right? It just shows the world that trump is just a Snake Oil Salesman selling us fake ideas and promises.

    • No Filter April 5, 2018 at 8:39 am

Your actually right for once the swamp is being drained! Democrats have picked up many seats in the house and governors offices that have been held by republicans. All the people leaving the white house have been people who were picked by Trump. Mid-term elections should be interesting to watch. Yep us clueless snowflakes keep winning. What has trump won besides the new tax law? All his executive orders will be wiped away once he leaves office, so I don’t really count them. NAFTA is still in place, the wall is still not built, he has already spent more time golfing than Obama did his entire 8 years in office, and he has more legal trouble than Bill Clinton and Richard Nixon combined. I haven’t even scratched the surface but you get the point. I will cry on election night this November, I will cry in laughter as the republicans continue to lose more seats in congress and Trump loses his mind even more. Lets get the popcorn and tissues ready its going to be better than a blockbuster movie on opening night.

      • John April 5, 2018 at 9:22 am

Your statement proves you don’t have a clue. You should filter stuff before you drink it. hahahahha!

        • Death Valley April 5, 2018 at 10:48 am

Keep making a fool of yourself. We live in your head, rent-free, Johnboy. Sad.

          • John April 5, 2018 at 11:47 am

You got that back buttwards.!!Your’e the one with me living rent free in your head.. and that was my line first you stupid parrot..hahahahahahaha

        • No Filter April 5, 2018 at 1:47 pm

John please inform me of what brought you to the point of saying I don’t have a clue? I am really curious what kind of BS you can pull out of your butt. Also thanks for being concerned but I buy filtered water so I am good. I think you just lack the mental capability to come up with a legitimate argument so you throw out a bunch words and post your hahahaha or your ……. to make it look like you are being smart. Sad really, i feel sorry for you, because you got screwed when it came to getting a functional brain.

          • John April 5, 2018 at 3:56 pm

Well the only ideas you spout are the ones you get from main stream media outlets, you clearly do not have any idea of what’s really going on. You filter nothing you hear. Therefore “clueless”. So, raisin brained turd muffin, I suggest you start doing some actual fact checking and give up the libtard talking points because they are only a mere distraction for the simple minded sheep. Until you do, my sarcasm will continue because yanking your chain is sooooooooo easy ! hahahahahaha!
